Where participants have a specific interest in a topic that calls for more than a meeting, we have working groups. Past working groups have focused on developing non-financial reporting templates for the media sector and generating joint media literacy initiatives.
At present, we have two working groups operating: -
- Several participants are involved in the Dimpacts working group, with the aim of creating shared approaches and tools to measure the environmental impacts of digital media content. The Dimpacts working group has been active since early 2016. As part of this project, we have been working with external partners such as TechUK and ICT peers; and
- The content impacts working group began in 2017, at the same time as the fifth conference in the Mirrors or Movers series. The group aims to understand and measure the societal impacts of media content, building on existing frameworks and models for measuring impact.
